Facial volume loss contributes significantly to facial ageing. As an industry, we are continuing to move away from ‘chasing wrinkles’ and more towards treatments and techniques that incorporate a whole-face approach
Facial volume loss contributes significantly to facial ageing, typically occurring in the mid face resulting in dark shadows that give the face a tired and drawn appearance.
The 8 Point Lift is referred to as the ‘non-surgical facelift’. The most advanced non-surgical techniques are used to lift and rejuvenate the face, creating a much more youthful appearance. The real appeal of this treatment is that our patients have seen desirable instant results, without having to go under the knife and minimal down time.
This method is very effective for most clients as it addresses 2 key aspects of facial aging:
1. Midface volume loss – skin sagging or face ‘dropping’ and tired looking under eye area.
2. Creases and lines and shadows in the mid and lower face – jowls forming along the jawline.
This approach is effective for both male and female patients. Needless to say, the proportions of a male face are very different to the proportions of a female face. As long as that is respected then the 8-point lift is absolutely appropriate for both genders.
How is it used in Cosmetic Medicine?
The treatment works by enhancing the face’s natural features, smoothing and tightening the skin, and re-contouring the shape of the face to revive and restore volume in the face.
How long will it last?
Longevity does vary between products, and between individuals. Due to the superiority of the products used at Beautoxology, patients can reap the rewards for up to 12-18 months after treatment. Gentle follow up treatments can be done in the future to maintain the desired look.
Who would not be suitable?
