Hollow Temples Are Volume Loss, Not Just Ageing Skin

What hollow temples actually are
Temples sit between the outer brow and the hairline. Soft tissue and fat can thin with age, weight change or genetics. The result is a concave area that deepens shadows and can make the eyes look more tired even when lids and under eyes are fine.
This is different from heavy lids caused by a low brow (see brow position and lid heaviness), and different from smile-line or mid-face folds that sit lower on the cheek. Temple work is about the upper-lateral frame of the face.
